Position: HR Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Lead the complete recruitment process, including sourcing, selection, onboarding, and employee orientation.
• Manage employee performance appraisal and talent development programs.
• Handle employee relations, disciplinary matters, grievances, and conflict resolution.
• Ensure compliance with the Nepal Labor Act and other applicable employment laws and regulations.
• Oversee payroll coordination, attendance, leave management, and employee records.
• Develop and implement employee engagement, retention, welfare, and motivation initiatives.
• Identify training and development needs and coordinate learning and development programs.
• Prepare HR reports, workforce plans, and organizational development strategies.
• Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and HR databases.
• Advise management on HR-related matters and provide strategic HR support for business objectives.
• Promote a positive, inclusive, and productive workplace culture.

Job Specification

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Master’s degree in Human Resources or a related discipline will be an advantage.

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Human Resources.
• At least 2 years of experience in a managerial or supervisory HR role.

Required Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of Nepal Labor Law and HR best practices.
• Practical experience in recruitment and selection.
• Experience in performance management and employee development.
• Knowledge of payroll coordination, attendance, leave, and employee records management.
• Strong employee relations and conflict-resolution skills.
• Experience in employee engagement and retention initiatives.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Knowledge of HRIS and HR database management is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, communication, leadership, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee matters professionally.
