Job Title: Teller (Cashier)

Job Time: 10am – 6pm

Location: Newroad, Kathmandu

We are currently seeking a dedicated Teller to join our team and contribute to the success of our cooperative.

Responsibilities:

• Cash Handling: Conduct accurate and efficient cash transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments.
• Customer Service: Provide friendly and professional customer service, addressing member inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
• Account Management: Assist members with account-related services, including balance inquiries and account transfers.
• Transaction Accuracy: Ensure the accuracy of all transactions and maintain a balanced cash drawer.
• Cross-Selling: Identify opportunities to promote cooperative products and services to meet member needs.
• Compliance: Adhere to all regulatory and cooperative policies to ensure a secure and compliant financial environment.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of transactions and assist in daily reconciliation processes.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in finance or related fields is a plus.
• Previous experience as a teller or in customer service, preferably in a financial institution.
• Strong numerical and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial transactions.
• Familiarity with banking software and technology.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a customer-centric mindset.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information.
