A food business in Tarkeshwor is looking for an experienced, skilled, and hardworking Professional Cook who can prepare a variety of popular Nepali and Tibetan-style dishes. The ideal candidate should have good cooking skills, maintain proper hygiene, and be able to prepare food consistently with good taste and presentation.

⏰ Working Hours: 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM

🍜 Required Cooking Skills:

The candidate should be able to prepare:

🥟 Momo
🍜 Chowmein
🥟 Shyabgale
🍲 Thukpa
🍛 General Khana & Khaja
🍳 Other common snacks and meals as required

🔹 Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare delicious and hygienic food according to the menu
• Maintain consistent taste and quality of food
• Prepare momo, chowmein, shyabgale, thukpa, and regular khana/khaja
• Prepare ingredients and ensure proper food preparation
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen
• Properly store and handle food ingredients
• Monitor the quality and freshness of ingredients
• Manage kitchen work efficiently during busy hours
• Minimize food wastage and use ingredients properly
• Keep cooking utensils and kitchen equipment clean
• Follow food safety and hygiene standards
• Coordinate with other staff members when required
• Maintain an organized and clean kitchen environment
• Perform other cooking-related duties as assigned by management

👤 Candidate Requirements:

✔️ Previous experience as a professional cook preferred
✔️ Strong cooking skills and knowledge of food preparation
✔️ Must be able to prepare momo, chowmein, shyabgale, and thukpa
✔️ Knowledge of general Nepali khana and khaja is required
✔️ Good sense of taste and food quality
✔️ Clean, disciplined, and responsible
✔️ Able to work efficiently under pressure
✔️ Good time-management skills
✔️ Honest, hardworking, and punctual
✔️ Willing to work as part of a team
