Job Description:

We are looking for a diligent and experienced Accountant to manage our company’s financial records and ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations. The Accountant will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial information, preparing financial reports, and supporting strategic decision-making processes.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of the company’s financial accounting, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
• Ensure timely and accurate recording of financial transactions and adherence to accounting standards.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Analyze financial data and performance metrics to provide insights and recommendations to management.
• Monitor and reconcile accounts, investigate discrepancies, and resolve any issues or discrepancies.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
• Prepare and submit tax returns, VAT filings, and other regulatory compliance reports.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external auditors to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance.
• Proven experience as an Accountant, preferably in a trading or commercial environment.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
